The MADB is a free online service provided by the Directorate-General for Trade of the European Commission, which is accessible for users located in the EU. The MADB offers product-specific information to companies exporting from the EU about import conditions in third country markets: duties and taxes, import procedures and formalities, statistics as well as information on sanitary and phyto-sanitary issues and trade barriers. More than 100 non-EU countries are covered. The MADB can also be used for preliminary market research and background information for the organisation of business events.
