The MADB is a free online service provided by theDirectorate-General for Trade of the EuropeanCommission, which is accessible for users locatedin the EU. The MADB offers product-specificinformation to companies exporting from theEU about import conditions in third countrymarkets: duties and taxes, import proceduresand formalities, statistics as well as informationon sanitary and phyto-sanitary issues andtrade barriers. More than 100 non-EU countriesare covered. The MADB can also be used forpreliminary market research and backgroundinformation for the organisation of business events.

The Export Helpdesk is a free online service provided by the Directorate-General for Trade of the European Commission, which provides exporters of developing countries information on exporting to the EU (including EU tariffs, requirements, preferential arrangements, quotas and statistics).
